Deacon Freddie "Sug" Jackson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, and is a product of Dixie, Louisiana. His parents are Deacon Philip and Cloteal Williams-Jackson (Deceased) of Mooringsport, Louisiana. Deacon Jackson attended Herndon and Northwood High Schools, and later attended Grambling State University. He has served on the staff of the former Patterson and Paradise Funeral Homes and brings 24 years of funeral service experience to the Washington's & Smith's Paradise Funeral Homes. Deacon Jackson retired in March 2016, after 43 years of working in manufacturing, and now serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Washington's & Smith's Paradise Funeral Homes. His family includes: Wife: Delores Williams-Jackson; Daughters: Shamonica Jackson-Crayton and Helisha Jackson-Moore, and Son: Jonathan Jackson. Deacon Jackson serves as a Deacon at Lighthill Baptist Church, Rev. Al Smith, Pastor.
